God blessed Ressie and Willie Lynn of Detroit, Michigan and on October 22, 1956, brother Darnell Lynn was born. At the age of 15 he was baptized by water at Greater King Solomon Baptist Church under paster Reed.

July 1974, at the age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force. On April 7, 1978, while stationed in England, UK., he married his wife Tillie Miles (daughter of elder Moses and Dorothy Miles) from Maryland. On March 12, 1981, they were blessed by God and had their first son Darnell Jr. On August 2, 1986 they were blessed again by God and had their last son, Taye.

On Friday night July 17, 1992, during a revival in Leeds, England, UK., under the powerful anointed preaching of pastor/evangelist Jackie McCullough brother Lynn received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

July 1992, it was the Holy Ghost that used him and two other brothers (with the help of bishop Hasting of Leeds, England, UK.,) to establish a gospel service at a military station in England. It was in England that he received a vision from God that changed his life forever. In the heavenly vision, the Lord instructed him to "Tell the Church to preach and teach about His Spirit..."

Brother Lynn was ordained as deacon/minister and served at "The Holy Temple Catheral, Annapolis, Maryland" under pastor/teacher bishop Baltimore.

Presently, he serves at "The First Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ International, Inc," Baltimore, Maryland under chief apostle and presiding bishop Cornelius Showell of the "Bible Way World Wide" organization.

God blessed him and he received a Master's in Public Administration and a BA in Business and Commerce from the University of Maryland, College Park. Presently, he is working to complete his Master's in Theology at First Apostolic Faith Christian College under elder - Dr. Harold Hart.

He has worked for the federal government for over 27 years. But with all his worldly achievements in his life his attitude is like apostle Paul: "I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ."

One of his favorite Bible Scripture is Luke 4:18: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised..."

Brother Lynn love the Lord with all his heart and soul. Also, brother Lynn love God's people. He is truly a friend of Christ! The Spirit of God have given him several spiritual gifts: the gift of God's wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, administration, and faith.

Finally, brother Lynn understands that and know that victory in Christ begins "with the name of Jesus on our lips; but will not be consummated until the nature of Jesus is in our hearts..." (Francis Frangipane "The Three Battlegrounds")
